as the announcers pointed out and talked about the season did not start off amazingly for Clemson.

I remember watching us lose at home 2-1 to UCF back in august after blowing a 1-0 lead. I came away from that game unimpressed. I thought we looked out muscled and not that threatening in attack. We then drew with a not very good UNCW team at home and ended up tumbling out of the top 25.

But the turnaround was absolutely incredible. Sylla became the monster he is halfway through the year and others became big contributors. Unbeaten for the last 14 games of the season.

100% agreed. People forget how demoralizing it was when the team had good preseason projections, only to then fall out of the rankings after the UCF loss and the UNCW debacle. But credit the team, because they absolutely turned it around after many had left them for dead.
