game. I like that Dabo does it that way. Tommy seemed to pull them out indiscriminately, diluting the power.

Dabo also used Orange Britches indiscriminately--until after the 2011 Season, when he said he would no longer allow them to be worn unless a championship was on the line. Thus, they were not worn in 2012 or 2013 until the Orange Bowl win vs the Bucknuts. From that game on, the standard has been in place.
Dabo's Record in Orange Pants: 40-17-0 = .702 win%
-2008.partial - 2011: 12-11-0 = .522 win%
-2013.bowl - current: 28-6-0 = .824 win%

Remember a few years ago when Clemson warmed up in white on white, but another game ended before ours turned our game into the division-clinching game. Dabo secretly had the orange britches boxed up and on standby just in case. When he received word the other game was over, he ended our warmups to inform the team this would be a championship game and for them to get back to the locker room and put in their orange britches.

The issue or conflict is that is Purple Out day on the schedule. Could we see the throwback to purple jersey and orange pants???
