Everybody talking about the O-line

Needs to play better but special teams will need to be good also. Our coverage has got to get better and some good returns would be nice to . Also can not miss FGs we will need all the pts we can get. The kicking game both punting and KO's have been good, so keep that up. Special teams are important and I hope we can improve on that Sat night.

If we had consistently gotten touchbacks on kickoffs, we would have won that game. Special teams lost that game for us.

Perhaps Dabo gave you a sneak preview of the kickoffs in the SCSU game. He worked on kicking a high ball to around the 20 so that the tacklers would be in a better position to tackle the return man. Wish we had tried that on Gurley!! Could have been a different game.
If you noticed, there were several new things tried in the last game. Perhaps you only noticed the quarterback play. GO TIGERS

so the next kickoff, they sent Gurley down the middle of the field for 100 yards. It's just the kind of thing that makes you wonder about our fundamentals.
