Is it reasonable to expect clemson to win against LSU?

considering our weak secondary and holes in our defense. even Ga Tech with a losing record ran over us. LSU has good D and running game. Haven't we set the expectation too high for us to beat LSU?

We have the talent to win....It is about the X's and O's

We have to get them into a shootout. We have at essentially blitz every down and be willing to give up chunk plays to get our offense back on the field...
If we let LSU pound the ball up the middle, we will lose. We only had 59 offense snaps against USC...that is why we lost...

Agree we have to out scheme them. A&M moved the ball on them we can also. Yes they will run the ball but if we can eliminate the 3 and outs and get a 2 td lead we can win. A little option out of the pistol wouldnt hurt either. Breeland back on defense will help a ton.

If we use the same game plan we used against USC,I expect Clemson to lose.

it will depend on the offensive play calling and defensive strategy. Coaches need to get their act together.

say the same for our pass defense. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. They have a good defense so we will have to let it all hang out like we did against fsu! If we keep the gameplan that we had against sc, you can expect more of the same. I just cannot understand why we didn't let it all hang out against our rivals who had beaten us three straight!!!

Same trap as USuCk game--how will our O-Line play

vs. their D-Line.
They have 2 guys almost as good as Clowney. If we can buy Tajh time to throw and Ellington room to run we should be Ok but otherwise it may be a repeat of Nov 24th...

to CU faithful we believe. We have beat a lot of teams we weren't supposed to. Toughness and power are a concern now but until it gets out of hand I'd say we get the "W".

exactly, remember #3 Tennessee,#3 FSU and that's not all.... I know we can win if we show up to play....and not just offense, we need the defense to show up and play decent, not lights out but decent (lights out would be nice though)

It is well known that we play better when we are the underdog, the pressure will be squarely on LSU's shoulders.

Anything can happen - either team could be flat and play below their potential while the other is "in the zone" and plays with heart and focus.
Looking at it rationally, however, I'd like for somebody to explain how they expect our defense, who really hasn't stopped or dictated anything to anybody all year, will suddenly do that against a pretty good LSU team. I know we have some tremendous playmakers on offense, but how do you have any confidence that they will be enough to overcome our lack of defense against such a strong defensive team as LSU, especially after such a dismal offensive performance against USuCk?
I guess someone could make a reasonable case, that it could happen. Or someone could make a perfectly understandable "reason be ###### - I'm a Clemson fan and we're gonna win" case.
