I'm torn on this.

I would want to maximize my net worth in college. Very few college basketball players make it to the NBA. And even then, the average life expectancy in the NBA is only like 4 years.

I seriously doubt RJ is a guy that will go make millions upon millions in the NBA. So I get why he would want to make as much money as he can in the present.

His game is inside. He isn't big by NBA standards. He needs another year to develop his shot.

I was thinking the same thing. His performance on the national stage likely pushed a ton of suitors his way and into his ear which sucks for Clemson.
