a better defensive catcher than Ingle? If so . . . I’m not seeing it.

Maybe he’s getting the mid week games to gain experience and to lessen the wear and tear on Ingle . . . I understand this line of thought.

Anyone know if Ingle has a minor injury that needs a little respite?

No argument here . . . Was just curious if anyone caught an interview by Coach B or knew of a minor injury to Cooper . . . You answered that for me, for which I’m grateful.

He’s good for a freshmen. Coming into the season Bakich let it be known that Cooper wouldn’t catch every game because of the arm injury last season. Cooper is healthy and they want to keep him that way so that’s why you’re seeing Jarrell get the starts he’s getting. They simply want to keep Cooper healthy all year and don’t want to put too much on him due to that injury which was a bad one
