Is this an indictment of coaching?

I saw this and it seams to be a dig at our coaches. What say you?

No. It is explaining maturation and development into a different game.

I don’t understand how you take it as a dig, like he said it’s different in College because you can out talent most teams. It was more of a dig at his pro career so far in which he hasn’t had much stability. As good as Trevor was in College from an NFL perspective he is a raw talent, he has to do things in the NFL that would’ve never been asked in College

Not at all...look at most 1st year QB's in the league.

Jags had the #1 pick in the draft for one reason...they $ucked. Trevor came in as a 1st year QB and had a coach that was more interested in himself and hot girls than winning football games. As mentioned in the article, at Clemson he was surrounded by talent; but not so much in Jacksonville. He's getting better and the Jags are getting better.

Yep, deserved.

Our QB fundamentals seem to regress while they are here. It has been happening for a long time.

Would be concerning it you could back up with facts. Unfortunately…

If you genuinely think our QBs improve as passers under Streeter, I don't really know what to say to you.

Yes, it's another example of our QB development at Clemson

not being what it should be.

No different than transitioning a good QB from HS to College. You change a lot of things to get them ready and the transition from college to pro is no different.

I read it like this: if you can win a national championship in dominant fashion with either your first read or tucking and running most of the time, then that makes a lot of sense given the situation. In the NFL, talent is too good for that.

If you have listened to any other interviews done by Jaguars players and coaches this season, it has been open season on Urban Meyer since the Jags started to win a few games.

Multiple players and coaches have outright named Urban when discussing some of the positive changes in the building with coaching and culture.

Pederson is just being a little more diplomatic in saying that even though Trevor is a 2nd year player who is having to coach him like a 1st year NFL player because of how terrible the coaching was last season.

Seems to be a clear cut case of Pederson going after Swinney, T.E., and Streeter? By Tigernet logic, maybe. Would he have a reason for that as a veteran NFL QB and a Super Bowl winning coach? I would say no.

When did Clemson people become such snowflakes?

Dec 8, 2022, 4:28 PM

The persecution complex on this forum is like something at Portland, state or evergreen state. I’ll save you the time. They are generally considered the two most progressive colleges in America. More so than Berkeley, Wisconsin, Michigan, UNC, etc. and both are in the PNW. Shocker, I know!

It's certainly not an endorsement***
