I dunno because Dunham probably would be ejected

for targeting with that hit under current rules. He definitely launched. It was arguably spearing under the old rules, but not called. It would absolutely be a penalty under the new, harsher player safety rules.

would've been ejected for that hit under the new rules, but then after a bunch of public outcry they backed off and said it was a legal hit.

Go to YouTube and find "The Fridge's" hit on Md RB

in which Perry picks up the opposing player, takes a couple of steps and then slams him to the ground in a style WWF fakers only wish they could perform

I was there when Fridge slammed that player to the ground. He had such speed for a big guy, and I'm pretty sure that RB would add strength. lol

Have you ever seen the video where Fridge stands flat footed
Jan 25, 2014, 8:49 PM
|
|
and hops onto a table 36 inches off the ground....over and over...pretty impressive. Plus, if you ever were in Fike to see him Dunk...........well, to say it RATTLED the back board is an understatement!

Fridge was fast for a big man at the time

Saw him run down a RB downfield many times. I imagine that he wouldn't seem as fast now with how players have changed, but there is no doubt he was the fastest big man of his time.

Over the years I have been lucky too see many great hits by a Tiger hard for me to pick just one One comes to mind when the dawgs came to DV and WP stopped HW running full speed picked him up walked 3 steps and drove him in the ground both teams went on the field I'm thinking if someone were to ask OSU QB he might not know his name but I'm willing to bet he sees the #33 in his dreams OSU did the same to TB in the end zone with no flag #33 got 2 as a favor

and hit on the Maryland running back, I know that we were losing bad but it made that game. I also remember TNET was abuzz about it. I need to think about 80's and 90's.

David Dunham sends a punt return blocker into the return man, knocking the daylight out of both of them, this one is right up there with the hit on Matt Ryan. Fast forward to about 1:45 in the video.
