Trump could win on appeal

if this trial was in a banana republic.

If you think he is going to win on appeal, you are 100% wrong. He might get the dollar amount reduced. But there is no way he is going to get the verdict reversed. The evidence is unique to the trump organization, voluminous, ironclad and insurmountable.

The fat orange clown is guilty. His legal team knew he is guilty. They were just waiting to hear the dollar amount.

His actions were not typical, this was not a case of stretching the truth a little bit on a loan application. These were blatant lies constituting fraud. If you believe otherwise, you have been conned by Fox or Newsmax or some online clown masquerading as a journalist.

Folks that say there is no victim in this case do not understand the US banking system, the secondary mortgage market, financial regulations, foreign direct investment and oh by the way ……. ethics.

I have no doubt that Trump is a scum bag to do business with, but it just seems a little odd that he has been doing business in NYC for over half a century and this is just now an issue. Uh huh...

Now they want us to believe that the banks gave him special rates on loans and that denied other borrowers from getting loans.

Not only is she the NY AG, now she's wanting to tell banks who they get to loan their money to and at what rate regardless of the risk.

That seems akin to FINANCIAL FASCISM.

Seems odd that these lenders didn't have an independent appraisal on collateralized commercial property and just took his word for the value of these properties.

This did not just become an issue an issue, now or recently.

US banks stopped lending to Donald Trump in 2001 cuz they became aware of his fraudulent business practices.

He has been charged criminally and civilly many times before this particular trial.

The dude is a fraud machine and a lawsuit machine.

He’s been a con artist for decades. Anyone in banking and real estate in New York City has known this since the 80s.

So when he wanted to get in the White House, he knew he had to abandon the liberal elites he had been working with for decades and had to find some suckers that would vote for him. So went to rural Americans and told the folks he was gonna make their lives great again.

And now you say, why did this just become an issue?

Absolutely hilarious! LOL!

Financial regulations and laws are essential to all of us, left right gullible and informed.

If you have a bank account or a 401k and you understand the secondary mortgage market you want trump to be charged and convicted for the fraud he has committed.

This case is based on fraud committed by Trump and his organization.

In this case the state brought the lawsuit and not the financial institutions. This wasn't a case of a regulatory agency levying a fine either. I'm not even trying to say that the ruling is illegitimate, but it just seems odd that the state would have just fairly recently brought this lawsuit.

Wait till some 'red state' AGs start bringing frivolous suits against their cherished Wall Street banks. Those CEOs will have input with NY SC.

You are smoking really bad stuff.

This is fraud.

The dollar amount might be reduced, but this has zero chance of being reversed on appeal unless somebody uncovers some kind of bizarre technicality. But on the merits of the case, this will not be overturned.

The honest and ethical ones will remove themselves from his legal defense team, and he will promote and/or hire new lawyers who will say what he wants them to say.

Lather, rinse, and repeat.

All the while, Trump will maintain that this is an injustice and that he is being unfairly targeted because people are out to get him. Such a martyr!

Nope. You are wrong. Look at the year in which trump claimed that value. Not even close.

Trumps defense was that nobody was injured and there was no victim. They knew they committed fraud so they resorted to the weak ineffective defense of no victim no harm no foul.

Trump defense team knew he was guilty. Just a matter of amount of fine.

Thus is not left or right, GOP or dem, not partisan.

This is a case of a washed up NYC real estate developer that frequently committed fraud.
