Would you please explain just what is so disastrous? Apparently you don’t keep up with the economic news. We had one of the best prosperous periods in modern history. Do youn want to live in autocratic (Dictatorship) country or a democracy? I have lived for 95 years through depressions,wars(as an Army Officer ),prosperity, and many social changes. I’ve grown and changed with the time. I have learned that there are many people who are different from me in beliefs, genic make up, and life style. If you believe that God creates everything, then he made all of us different. Most importantly, I have realized that everyone deserve to live in peach,with full full rights,and not be discriminated sgainst or marginalized! Understand completely. When I was a kid all I wanted was to play college basketball. But that 5’7” kid didn’t have the physical tools to make that a realistic option. When I can become the 6’3” shooting guard that I identified as all of my adolescence, then maybe I’ll believe boys can become girls or vice versa.

I don't know how I would react if someone questioned or made fun of Islam because you cowards never do that. Islam is a violent religion that would mean taking a risk to call out. The impression is that you make so much bluster about Christianity because you see them as 'soft targets' and that reveals you have some other agenda.
If you truly are a stalwart defender of the LGBT community and not just using them for some other purpose you would decry any sense of injusticd anywhere instead of cherry-picking the non-threatening ones.
