Why do so many football fans put so much stock in an intrasquad scrimmage that has about as much to do with the final outcome as the Par 3 contest at Augusta?
Sure, they're going to have to fire on all cylinders on both sides of the ball and have a few plays go their way to beat UGA (like every other team UGA'll play), but to suggest they've already lost that game based on today's little scrum, is kinda like squatting with your spurs on.

Because the spring game offense the last 3 years turned out to be the regular season offense. I can see why people would think that way.

If that's the case then there has been big strides made, bc even with the offense being super vanilla it moved the ball in chunks at times and turnovers from the 1s were limited to 1 miscommunication vs cover2. This spring game was not all negative on offense. The running game ghosting was the worst part imo. Cade had about 6 bad throws and a few drops(at least 2 to Henry) but yall got those pitch forks ready to go. Cade was making the right calls and checking into favorable plays(ie runs vs light boxes) and he did not have happy feet.

Is the epitome of a pumper.
What happened was Cade was throwing into coverage and other at risk passes.
You want to see improvement at QB in a game, or a scrimmage.
It’s not that hard to understand.

but am also not a huge Ewers fan, and he turned out okay.
I mention that because for years, any Texas QB not named Vince Young stepped on the field dragging the weight of a legend around behind them, and it was unfair to all of them, even the crappy ones.
Klubnik is going to generally be better than his predecessor, yet nowhere near as great as his predecessor's predecessor.
But he may be just good enough to take the team back to the playoff, like Ewers finally did.

when he saw I was about to run off at the mouth and force his hand. Forcing Daddy's hand was a situation that never ended well for me.
He'd also warn me to not let my "jaybird mouth overload my hummingbird a**," but that one didnt seem to apply to spring game commentary.

Impossible to tell if you're being sarcastic. You can get an idea of somethings but chemistry is a thing in team sports, mixing up guys and keeping it vanilla does limit what you're going to learn imo. What we do learn is if the team has speed and size, which from what I saw this team is very fast imo.

The thing to remember is that the tigernet boards mostly consist of armchair qb casuals. They see one bad game and want to fire the coach. They see one bad scrimmage and want to get rid of QB1. It is only Spring. This is only a practice. We know absolutely nothing about what will be on the field in the fall.
