What is Dabo gonna do about it?!

Are we gonna get 2012, hungry Dabo back?

or

Is he gonna stay “Country Club” Dabo?

The big question is does he believe his own coach

speak or is that just for the press. Every since our offensive struggles going back to two years ago, he keeps talking how close we are and everything is going to be just fine. I'm starting to thing he honestly believes there is nothing wrong on offense except turnovers.

Completely true.

It’s become tough to listen to….he needs to start holding people accountable.

Don’t worry. We have an incredible offensive staff that no other top 20 program would hire outside of Riley. They’ll right the ship!

Just look at Dabo's coaching tree. Success everywhere. Tony Elliott just beat the two-headed monster known as William & Mary today! LOL

You think if someone called him out now like Spurrier did back in the day we’d get that same kind of snap back and legendary quote? Unfortunately I don’t have confidence that we would.

It's the relationship between coaching and recruiting.

How did we end up with such a mismatch at quarterback and our 'style' as to recruit DJU? Cement sneakers, slow to read the defense, etc. How did we go from a receiver room that was the envy of everyone in college football (and a head coach who was a wide receiver coach and a super-great recruiter) to what we are fielding today?

The talent is looking at the coaches. Not Dabo - their position coaches. And they say ... yeah, no. They want a very high draft number and they don't see this staff as getting them there.

CJ Spiller. I love him! Who can forget his incredible talent and ability to break any play for a touchdown. But CJ had two things: World Class Speed, and the moves. OK - who do we have on the roster now with that level of talent in either of those things? No one! CJ - loved him, but I remember the games where he was completely ineffective because the defence would stop him at the line of scrimmage and didn't let him get into the backfield where he excelled. So what is CJ bringing to our running backs who lack his skills and cannot hope to do what he did? I don't want to criticize the guy but I wonder how effective his in recruiting and coaching these guys. Now let's look at the receivers ... well let's not. Not a pretty picture. We haven't recruiting anyone who could play on our better teams of the past 8 years. Why is that? Dabo - great recruiter. Dabo - former wide receiver coach. Clemson - WRU!!! Look our our alumni. But why are we failing to recruit there? Maybe NIL ... but I've got nothing else except our coaches. They are not convincing the recruits that they can make them 1st round picks.
