Taking valuable reps from actual D1 players on our roster at this point is f'ed up. Drew got more valuable reps than Randall. Let that sink in. Someone in power really needs to call Dabo out on this nepotism bs.

I agree but you have really missed the point. Dabo is in complete control and he answers to nobody but the man above. His coaches are yes men and his 115 million dollar contract far eclipses the President, AD, and all the other coaches combined. His lawyers did a fantastic job on this ten year deal and all decisions are his. Period.

I would say Woody McCorvey but he’s in his 70s and probably becoming less attuned to the current CFB landscape by the year..

Most Tiger faithful would say that 2 Natty's and numerous conference championships give him the right to operate without any questions asked. I personally think the emperor has no clothes but that's just my opinion which I recognize as meaningless ranting. FWIW I don't see any change coming. While we were short at D end we have one on the roster who's brother was great one from Daniel. He weighs 215 lbs. at D end? Legacy at work. Maybe in 5 years he can bulk enough to play LB if he has any foot speed remaining. It's depressing at some point.

Thanks, I try to keep up with whose on field but we have multiple small white kids at this stage and I lose track of the numbers at some point, even with the roster in front of me. Did not realize he was in at this critical juncture. Not our best look.

I don’t get the Swinney kids put downs. They have both been serviceable players and Drew has been a very capable backup WR. The fact he’s playing is our poor recruitment and development of the WR room. He’s not starting, he’s a backup. Randall is still not fully healthy and on a pitch count IMO. Drew didn’t call the fake FG. He should have made the pitch but that’s a split second decision and he’s not a QB, he’s a holder and backup WR. Our coaches have a tendency to put players in spots they’re not accustomed to or comfortable with, ie the stupid KO return trick play that Mafah fumbled, Cade at ND, Davis Allen pass last night. To say Drew wouldn’t play at another D1 school is just not true and is an unfair criticism of him. Our current coordinators couldn’t carry the jockstraps of BV and JS/TE

I never put down players. Ever. They are all doing their best. If you think any of the Swinney kids could get a scholarship at another BCS school then you need to look closer. I strongly disagree.

Lol those of us who played sports know all about the “coaches son”. 4-hole hitter even though can barely hold a bat, starting point guard even though he can’t make a free throw, starting running back even though he’s slower than the offense lineman, playing striker even though he’s the weakest ball handler on the team, etc.. All the while the coach saying,” I don’t play favorites”

Posted this elsewhere.
Will Swinney participated in 6 seasons, 570 pts scored, 558 place kicks without a muffed hold and several saves on high snaps and 2 TDs.
Drew handled everyone of his snaps and a 2 pt Xtra pt play. I wasn't crazy about the fake but ONE bad play in 7 years was not why we lost.
