Not surprising but his last name will get him a high NIL contract and he can get secure off of that if he is not NFL material. I'm glad he cooled on us and maybe Dabo and staff saw that he was not as good as hyped.

We took Vizzina based on what we saw from him…not on what we didn’t see from Manning…

They threw side by side at the Clemson camp…

We didn’t take Vizzina because of a miss on Manning - to put it another way…

I’ve not watched Manning’s film - but the remarks I’ve heard echo the sentiments in the OP…

Mind you these remarks weren’t from experts but friends of mine who are diehard fans of teams other than Clemson….
Teams in the Manning race until the end…and not remarks made after the Texas commitment but before ….not sour grapes…

Ding, ding, ding. Winner, winner chicken dinner 232press! I looked up the top 100 high school teams in the U.S. and Manning did not play for or against any of them. On the other hand, Klubnik played against, if I recall correctly, 5 or 6 his senior year. I did not look up Vizzina.
