I fit in so much more with Clemson in terms of blue collar salt of the earth people. Grew up in Athens and started going to UGA games as a little 5 year old boy. That’s all I knew.
Don’t like what The University of Georgia has become with its elitist brain dead liberal tilt. Actually got a call yesterday from them wanting money - we had a “spirited” conversation…
I have so many years invested in UGA football. That is hard to ignore and so many memories.
Just wish UGA/Athens had not devolved into a Cal Berkeley East freak show.
Anyway, going to Clemson spring game with my Clemson buddies and will be fun and the Georgia/Clemson opener should be a good one.

Anytime you need a new home, you're always welcome.
As far as the first game is considered; I expect a much-improved offensive line. Which should make all the difference.

Maybe White can get UGA to an occasional NCAA tournament invite. I don't expect to be Kentucky, just make the tournament every few years. Tom Crean won two big ten titles at Indiana and took Marquette to a Final Four and even he couldn't win in Athens. We'll see.

Georgia fans as a whole are significantly more red than Tiger fans. I also noticed the majority of dog fans drove work trucks signifying blue collar (carpenters, plumbers, handymen, etc)

I think he meant the kids attending and admin now are the issue. Can sorta vouch as an HS classmate of my kid is at UGA and it fits.
As best as I can tell CU has been much less that way and can still be fun.

One of my sons just graduated from UCF in Orlando. Talk about brain dead liberals! He never had a single "professor" who wanted to hear any point of view on any topic that slightly deviated from the "ladies of The View!"

I tuaght at a community college for 31 years. Had opportunities to meet with faculty from other community colleges as well as the universities in Florida (public and private).
A conservative on a college faculty or administration is almost as rare as a Nole on T-net. 😉🤔🤔😉

One young history professor I had proudly wore his George McGovern button prior to the 1972 Presidential election. Needless to say, he got ribbed unmercifully when McGovern lost in about the worst landslide IN history. I guess that was appropriate, since he TAUGHT history.
Oh, a funny footnote to that story. When Watergate happened, I remember a smattering of campaign type buttons being worn that said MCGOVERN WAS RIGHT!

Met a bunch of nice folks who post here on T-net. Had a great time both times. Hoping to make it an annual event.
If I lived closer to Clemson, I'd be there Saturday. But, I will be watching it on ACCNX. Hopefully, Dabo will be on the field doing his play by play commentary with Eric Mac Lain standing beside him.

Started Clemson in 91 and on October 5, 1991 i quickly learned that UGA fans are a bunch of straight up aholes.. elitist or not. Just plain aholes.
