I am still upset about the no call Targeting on Shipley yesterday. Shipley was playing great and that was an automatic 15 yards and ejection of Tech’s best defender and nope the refs didn’t see it and no booth review.

Yeah we see the game stopped a hundred times for them to look for the faintest hint of targeting and here it was plain as day to see. With Shipley already going down and his head looking away from that LB it actually looked a lot like the old spearing calls from back in the day. The base of the skull is particularly vulnerable even if he hadn’t been hit there two weeks ago. Blatant crown of the helmet on a ball carrier who was totally defenseless already going down.
