They didn't "reverse" it, you dweeb. They changed it from "unverified" - because it wasn't verified - to "true" once evidence emerged. That's called intellectual honesty, a thing you know absolutely about.
What she did not do was verify that the contents were unaltered...which was the whole trap that Veritas guy James O'Keefe was trying to set for her. If he claimed it was true and dumped the contents all over the internet, if it came out it was faked, he'd get hit with a truly spectacular defamation suit on the order of the one Alex Jones got. What O'Keefe really wanted was for Ashley Biden to come to him and claim it, and when he handed it over, the cameras would be rolling with his trademark out-of-context gotchas. Then he could dump the contents all over the Internet and say: "this is what was in it, don't know if it's true, but hey, here's Ashley Biden trying to get her journal back, so you do the math."
Even if he altered the journal himself. Which is very much his speed.
O'Keefe and Veritas had run that dodge way too often, though. The Bidens knew what O'Keefe's game was and didn't bite, and sent the FBI after it. And the fact that O'Keefe never released its contents was highly telling.
So maybe it is true. But the guy who had the journal and who makes his living burning liberals isn't even claiming that much. I wonder why?
