The stories coming out about Johnny Manziel, and his mental health struggles in college, and in the NFL are startling. Regardless of what I think about his antics over the years, he is in my thoughts and prayers, and my wish for him is that he will find grace and healing. I think we sometimes forget that these are young men trying to find their place in the world under intense scrutiny. Good luck, Johnny

No doubt, he is a sad case and needs our prayers. Wow he was an exciting guy to watch and it is just tragic how it worked out for him.

He apparently suffered from bipolar disease, had a serious addiction to drugs, and attempted to kill himself when his NFL crashed down. He bought a gun, held it to his head, and did not succeed because the gun failed to fire.
