No he did no fake a slide, but the slow down almost to a stop basically did the same thing legally. I guarantee if he got destroyed right there a penalty would have been called on the defense. Unfortunately, that's how the game has evolved.

Does he? I mean there's not much balls if you know you aren't going to get hit. He's a great player, but does Kenny Pickett have balls because he fake slid and ran for a TD? No. Allen's run worked simply because he slowed like he would go down so everyone let up. Mahomes does it on the sideline all the time and holds the ball out and tip toes further. If I was playing linebacker I'd take his head off regardless of penalty. Some examples need to be set. These guys are babies. Use to be a warrior sport. Not today. And yes, I played. Past HS. Just tired of it. Heard California was trying to outlaw tackle football with kids earlier today.
