If you support kneeling during the national anthem, if you believe America is inherently racist and was founded on racist principles, if you believe the USA has done more harm to the world than good for it, if you believe the biggest threat to democracy is white people, if you believe the federal government is the solution and not the problem, if you believe the outcome of the pursuit of happiness has to be the same for everyone you need to sit your as$ down during July 4th and not celebrate a thing.
You are part of the problem, and you are the reason the founders made life-risking decisions to abolish their government and institute a new one, laying its foundation on principles of the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

There's no possible way most of the lefty posters on TNet can legitimately find the declaration of independence inspiring or a reason to celebrate.
How can it be? The declaration of independence is the root cause of the USA becoming the dominant world political, financial, and military power. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is the antithesis of what you vote for.
The declaration of independence says all men are created equal. Clearly with the uproar around the SCOTUS decision yesterday, the left does not support the principle of people being equal.
The declaration of independence rationalizes what the people must do to throw off an out-of-control government. "it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it." Millions of people believe our current government is worse than that which was endured by the founders. If you believe the DoI is a guiding document, then you must be good with another round of throwing the gubment off. The DoI signers would have done so decades ago.
So either you don't celebrate July 4th (and keep voting democrat) or stop voting democrat and celebrate the 4th.
