Fast forward 4 or 5 years. Where will our football program be and will the fan base still be bitterly divided? Personally, I think we are on a scary trajectory and all the Dabo speak and negativity is going to really begin to affect recruiting. Maybe wholesale staff changes will make things better but I just don't see that happening unless Dabo has some sort of epiphany. Certainly the portal could help but that's not happening. With all the chatter going on I fear we are losing touch with the problem at hand and possible solutions.

In 4 or 5 years, Clemson will be a perennial 8-4 Gator Bowl participant, and Dabo will be headed to Liberty University where he will coach until he retires.

I'm going out on a limb here and say in 4-5 years it will be 2027-2028.

The fan base will always be bitterly divided. We have the Internet to thank for that. We will have to be zapped back to the dark ages for civility to return.

My guess is the noise makers are not IPTAY donors and don't go to games so nobody at Clemson really cares what they say. We have been Clemson football for over 100 years and will continue to be. Football is not an hour glass that runs out of sand.
