i love reading the comments from the Texas fans.

sounds like we are dropping the snobs of UNC basketball for the snobs of Longhorn football.

i love it. I would much rather be controlled by a football school than a sorry ####, sweater vest wearing basketball school.

I've seen a couple of posts on these longhorn boards state that CU is not good academically. I just looked at a site and it showed CU only a hand full of spots under Texas. Wait! Haven't they sucked the last couple of years in football? What's their excuse?

Hell, TCU & Tech are the only TX schools worth mentioning anyway. Only good thing associated with Austin, TX is Dale Watson.

They haven't done the research. If/when Clemson joins the Big 12 they'll be the 2nd ranked school academically behind only Texas.
