Sorry to over-simplify but my goodness it's hard to deny the difference in Tajh, Deshuan, TL vs. Stout, Kelly, DJ, CK.

I think CK is WAY better than Stoudt and DJ. Jury is out for being better than Kelly.

NINE of 11 starters, AND a reserve defender made the NFL from that time period. I said all that just to say that neither we, nor any other program is going to hit on that much talent all at the same time very often, not even A-la-BAMA. So, holding any future defense to that standard is pretty much doomed to fail. Our current one is pretty doggone good, comparatively, even so.
