Dabo's presser from yesterday. My take on it is, how fortunate we are to have him as our head coach. Coach Riley, is also a great hire, a great person and no doubt he will improve our game tremendously.

I don’t remember anyone outright calling for it but I do remember at least one poast that said something like it might be the best thing for Clemson football if Dabo decided to leave. That’s passive aggressive for he needs to go. I don’t remember who it was, but it was someone who I had seen on here before. Maybe whoever it was still feels that way and will own up to it.

Most were afraid to criticize Dabo outright, but plenty trashed his hiring decisions, his roster management, his input on play calling, his decisions on which QB to play, his non-use of the portal, his unwillingness to lead with NIL and his calling out fans who have become entitled babies. Many posters also doubted his willingness to make the necessary changes required to regain a playoff ready team

#2 While I, nor anybody else for that matter monitors tnet 24/7.......I never saw ANYBODY.......I never saw even "the toughest critics" (or as I call them REALISTS) on here call for Dabo's head.
Were there people calling for him to FIRE Streeter??........absoulutely
Were/are there people calling for Dabo to "adapt" with the times???........of course
Nobody I've seen called for his Head..........nor should they right now or back in the fall.

I expect if he had not given the masses the head of Streeter, it would still be pretty iffy around here.

Unfortunately talk is cheap. I remember hearing how much DJ had improved and was ready to step up and be the 7-star all-world bigtime QB who was going to take Clemson back to success in the college football playoffs in 2022... well, that just wasn't true. It was a lie, really.
We made a change. That's good. I will reserve my analysis of how bright the future is until I see some evidence on the field of battle. We'll know when we face teams like Notre Dame and FSU. Show me.
