How badly was he hurt? It's been awhile now since the injury. Sure hope he gets back soon.

Monte said last week he was in hopes of getting kier and Green back in a couple weeks. That’s all he said. Didn’t alude to what/ how the injury was healing.

Lecroy said on Plyler's show yesterday morning that Kier would travel this weekend but that a decision whether or not to activate him was still coming.

Said if activated he could potentially pinch hit but is looking toward next weekend to get back into the outfield rotation if there are no setbacks.

Wow, that is great news. Guess they didn’t mention Michael Green. Kier needs to figure out why he keeps getting hurt. Million dollar question...

Green was mentioned as most likely being ready for next week as well.

Nothing definitive on either one though.

It makes it seem as though both have taken longer to heal than expected so the coaches don't want to put an exact timeframe on it.
