Kyle Field to expand to 102,000 per cbssportsline.com

Texas A&M plans to spend around 450 mil to expand Kyle Field from 82,000 to 102,000 in the next several seasons....Wow, guess being in the SEC is already has been king to the Aggies. Wish Death Valley would look at expansion close to 90,000 if we continue to have have double digit wins in the next several years.....Dont think Clemson will beyond 90,000 though. SEC= haves ACC= have nots

Not even sure where DV could add seats? Wrap the upperdeck around the WEZ? Would look like Ohio State then.

We shouldn't think about expansions in the Valley until we find a way to fill the corners in the upper decks. Even though we led the conference in attendance this year, now is not the time for more seats.

IT's ridiculous ticket prices for the terrible top deck corner seats.

There's no reason ticket prices should have the same face value fore most of the stadium like it is. The upper corners of the stadium should be $25 or less, regardless of opponent.

the fact that our conference home slate is less than appealing every other year from now on because both FSU and GT will be home games the same season.
Take the 2014 ACC home schedule:
NC State Syracuse Virginia Louisville
Out of the four at this point the only one that even halfway sounds appealing at this point is Louisville, and they are the only one of the four that will bring appreciable number of their own fans.

Texas A&M is taking advantage of taking the SEC by storm. 11-2 while beating Alabama at their place, support is probably at an all-time high and all that SEC money is helping them improve their stadium

ed as of yet. There are athletic programs in the country that simply don't need TV money. A&M is one of them.

The SEC teams made less money than the ACC teams this season because the TV contract was not renegotiated for 14 teams. All of the top 5 conferences are about to make millions more because of the new playoff. I wouldn't call 30+ million per year the have nots.

I live in College Station, but didn't make one game last year because the tics where crazy expense ($200 just to sit in the corner of the upper deck for the LSU and Florida game.

We need to consistently fill Death Valley first.

To do that, we should consider having a tiered approach to ticket prices. As others have said, it should not cost as much to sit in the nosebleed seats as it does the lower deck at the 45 yard line.

you don't the same amount to sit behind the dug out at Turner Field as you do in the upper deck...the price of the ticket should equal the quality of the seat.

State of Texas has 10 D1 football programs. All total, these 10 stadiums seat about 553,000. With a population of 26 mil, thats 47 butts per seat.
South Carolina has 2 D1 football program with a total of about 162,000 seats. With a population of less than 5 mil, thats around 30 butts per seat.
So it looks like all those Texas schools need to expand to keep up with us.

Good for them. Maybe their sideline seat numbers will catch up with their endzone seat numbers.
TAMU has over 50,000 students, while we have an enrollment of 20,000. They should be bigger. I hope they can fill it.
WIth every game on tv and tvs getting better and tickets more expensive - they better hope for high oil and cattle prices.

Regardless of SEC. Old stadium. Not many boxes and not enough room for students. It is a very poorly designed stadium IMO. Looks like someone threw three pieces of stands on a field. Pictures don't do it justice - it's worse in person. Don't get me wrong - they have a great crowd and overall experience but the stadium is ill-conceived.

UT's final plans include filling in their south endzone to bring total capacity to 120,000-125,000 making it the largest stadium in North America. Pretty impressive.
