Looking a few years ahead, I’m thinking the best thing for the ACC IS for Clemson/FSU to leave. Really just surprised at the strength of the Big 12 now they are without top tier football programs, and think they will benefit as that unit. With Clemson/FSU out, and if they add the 4 PAC schools, or Stan/Cal/SMU/?, the ACC would have a lot of parity, and still a seat at the playoff if a school catches fire like TCU last year. Just wondering if the ACC has the foresight (lol) to see this and work with our two schools to leave without dragging through courts, which in my opinion also obliterates the conference.
With that in mind I think we could see a decade of play with 2 major power conferences and 2 minor support conferences In football. That is all. Beat the Blue Devils!
