DJ sucks - Bring Case in
Cade sucks - Coaches fault

This game is not on one player. The defense has been drained by being on the field the whole game. The offense has not had any running game, therefore no passing game. But DJ gets the blame. Why not blame the offensive line for not run blocking. Or should we give credit to ND for being ready for the challenge?

It can be both. DJ does suck. The stats don't lie. Last year he was the worst quarterback in the P5 and the second worst in all of college football. This year, he's bottom half, though a little better. For a place where best is supposedly the standard, keeping the 70th best QB in the country out there is inexcusable. So DJ sucks and they should bring Cade in (It's not Case btw).

Cade was put in for one play on our own 7. He threw a bad throw, they took him out immediately. That is the coaches fault.

You're not wrong about the rest. ND is not a good team, but they did come to play. The defense played well until they were just exhausted. The offense couldn't really establish a running game because the offensive line also isn't good (though our problem in run blocking is a coaching problem. Our scheme actively harms the running game).

So literally all your points are true. But it rises and falls with 3 individuals: Dabo, Streeter, and DJ. Streeter should fired and DJ benched. Dabo has earned enough benefit to not be fired, but were it me, I wouldn't have given him an extension last year (which was wholly unnecessary) and he'd be expected to improve all of this next year or he'd be shown the door too. We're willing to spend $10 million+ on a head coach. You can't coast on past victories and still take that much money.
