This may not be popular, but I will say it......

Today we need to thank Tommy Bowden. He took a chance years ago with a real estate agent who had been out of the game a while and made him a WR coach on his staff. Later, when the heat was on and Bowden was being shown the door (rightfully so), Bowden recommended that the real estate salesman WR coach would make the best interim head coach. He told Terry Don Phillips this and Dabo got his shot.

Now Tommy could never get us to that top level, but Tommy saw something in Dabo and for that, if nothing else, we should show him some gratitude today. If you have to trace all this back to the very beginning, you have to tip your hat to Tommy Bowden today.

Absolutely correct! Also I was glad Dabo thanked TDP. My wife pointed out Dabo initially needed to also acknowledge Kathleen and his sons publically. Hope someone pointed that out to Dabo. Perhaps once he gathers himself.

For all the flack he gets (and some of it warranted), he deserves credit for starting the turn around. He began the foundation that Dabo finished.
