and the Lowcountry--Who has the best ribs (and where)? I know pulled pork is Carolina BBQ but just for a change of pace we will talk ribs because they sound so good right now.

Best dry-rub ribs I've ever had. Plus they have these smoked wings that they put the dry rub on. Wings are huge and are also the best wings I've had.

and it was mostly pulled pork but some home cooks made a lot of spareribs in the oven. At Clemson I think Quattlebaum's (sp) BBQ near the Esso had ribs but don't remember much about them.
Piggy Park here in Cooterville has ribs but they are tough--just like Dreamland which I visited in Bama several years ago. Now, when I went to Memphis--oh, boy what a treat--but I am not sure where you can find great Memphis style ribs here in Carolina.

I'm honestly not sure if I've had the ribs there or not.

Went a good bit when I was a kid with my grandparents, they'd go every single Friday night from Newberry to eat there.
I remember loving their hash, green beans, and got my love for fried chicken livers there also. Great all around place

I lived in Kline from 60-66 - about a mile from the border.
Bo Corley's Bar B Cue was across from the Milliken plant in Barnwell. Don't remember if they had ribs, but I did like their bar b cue.
