Levon -/ "" Dabo....it has been on my mind a while. Ever since I saw your guys on defense get moved around in South Bend against Notre Dame....it struck a chord with me. I knew in my mind that wasn't how a Clemson defense is supposed to look. Now there have been respectable improvements since that game....but I want to help you keep it going.... because I see what is happening out here in the college football world as of today. You know you see what it is happening out there. This team needs to be motivated..... motivated to do things the right way. Motivated to become successful men.... motivated to be feared on the football field. Motivated to represent Clemson as well as wanting to stay at Clemson until the job at hand is finished. I can help get these men more dedicated and ignore what is happening on social media. What needs to happen is to let me use my platform and experiences to keep these young men on the right track. I'll bring in more influence if need be. I'll go and find Trevor Pryce..... I'll try to bring home Brentson Buckner....or even go back to find what Jeb Flesch is doing these days to refocus the toughness of the offensive linemen. """

Levon Kirkland is a cool guy, i know he was head coach at shannon forrest in the upstate back when they started there football program, great guy, loved his comment about brenston buckner. we need to bring in some guys who loved to hit.

I have a very vivid memory of Levon from a HS game against Chesterfield HS. He hit Chris Roscoe so hard he rolled up under the bench. Not due to physical injury but that kid never played another down.

Talk about a humble guy. He along with Brian Dawkins are probably the most humble guys I've ever met. When I put together my Clemson Man Cave, I got up with both guys to get a couple of things signed. Both were incredibly happy to oblige. Great guys to ha e around the program. Neither of them were highly regarded out of HS but went on to have great careers. I think that's 16 pro bowls between the two.
