tried to give Streeter and Austin a chance but there was a reason he had to let them go. Anyone else on the staff that fails to recruit well or develop their position group will find the same fate. Dabo has that look in his guy. Don’t get in his way.

I think this last two and half years were a manifestation of Dabo thinking he had candidates to grow his coaching tree and develop them as coaches similar to his vision of developing the players for life success.
Unfortunately the timing on the heels of covid, experience, attrition, injuries, NIL, tampering, portal rule changes just staggered the momentum. Some young coaches did not rise up to the occasion and forced some decisions.
Dabo is making moves to fix that and I sense a swift return to what we had become used to seeing from the team

Agree. We got to get our QB playing at a high level to get back. Hoping Cade and Vizzina can do that. Got to give Riley time to get his players for his system before we can pass judgement on him.

TD like recruiting, sometimes you pick the wrong kid for the job but when you made the pick you thought they had what it would take.

Dabo went with the recommendation of our last OL coach.

Dabo from my understanding leaves the recruiting up to each position coach but he has the final approval.
