and I don't think anyone in their right mind would lump them in with what most consider "90's music" to be (or that other crap you mentioned)...
Every one of their albums between that and their recent "If not now, when?" (which is pretty good) album were pretty forgettable
they drastically changed their sound from an Alt/Funk metal to a more pop-ish metal after SCIENCE

I used to have a huge "CREED" sticker on the back glass of my jeep.
When I got to Clemson, and it was definitely not cool anymore, I peeled the sticker off.
It was on there for so long, that my window tint faded around it and you could see it plain as day.
The jeep turned in to my own prison, so to speak.
