Whereas Biden is a geriatric compromise candidate in a suit, who ran on the platform of I'm Not Donald Trump. He could be the dead guy from Weekend At Bernie's getting wheeled around as a prop for all we know. I think it's distinctly possible.
But does it even matter? When Actual Donald Trump is that repugnant, that's all the campaign chops you need. Now Actual Donald Trump is not only repugnant, he's likely to be heading into the '24 election as a convicted felon. So let your bets ride on the possibly dead guy, again.

Are you saying Pubs will weaponize the justice system to attack political foes if one were to gain the Presidency?
We already have a Congressional committee head investigating Biden stating no actual evidence of a crime is needed - is this the type of 2-tiered justice system you're angling for? Actual violations with reems of evidence will be buried and not prosecuted because of party affiliation, while no actual evidence will be used to pursue political opponents?

The establishment Republicans will be all in on helping the Democrats fix the 2024 election if Trump is the Republican nominee again.
Both political groups are getting increasingly worried that their indictments against Trump will collapse.
The J6 related indictment continues to erode. Remember T.Carlson’s interesting, but not ‘explosive’ interview with former Capitol Police officer Tarik Johnson?
He gave a live interview on Glenn Beck’s radio program yesterday. A ‘teaser’ statement (C&P below) was posted on The Blaze site, as follows:
“Former Capitol Police officer Tarik Johnson, who was suspended for donning a MAGA hat during the January 6 Capitol riot, made headlines when he told his story to Tucker Carlson on Fox News. But according to Johnson, he had decided to leave few details out of the interview. Now, he joins Glenn to tell the rest of the story, and it all revolves around former acting Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman. Johnson lays out why he believes Pittman, who at the time oversaw intelligence for the Capitol Police, must have held back evidence from then-Chief Steven Sund — only to be rewarded with a high-paying job in Nancy Pelosi's district. “January 6 cannot happen without her permission,” Johnson argues. Plus, he explains why the Capitol Police has a big issue with whistleblower protection and why he believes another investigation is needed.”
New stuff: Mr. Johnson cited how acting chief Ms. Pittman had suddenly risen from a low rank to her temporary position as acting chief (bypassing several ‘rungs on the hierarchy ladder’ to her otherwise unexpected exalted position) shortly before J6. Immediately after J6, Ms. Johnson conducted an extensive purge of officers (including Mr. Johnson) who did their jobs correctly (I.e., prevented protesters from crossing the temporary ‘no trespass’ barriers). Mr. Johnson, who professed to having an exemplary job performance record, was ‘eligible’ for a letter of merit … but that letter would not be provided until ~ 2 years after Mr. Johnson’s firing. Mr. Johnson, for the sake of his own livelihood, remained silent about internal matters about the Capitol Police and acting chief Ms. Pittman until he was able to get his ‘letter of merit.’
Mr. Johnson also expressed his concerns that the Republican House does not possess the means for protecting whistleblowers, which explains much of his previous reluctance to tell all that he observed as far as coverups by the Capitol Police with respect to conspiratorial behavior on J6.
(*). Nothing new has been proven, yet the creaking and groaning from the support beams of the government’s coordination of J6 violence incitement and undercover postings of violent protesters indicates that this whole rotten structure is getting closer to collapse.
