It took a lot of looking, but I think we have something that gives Joonyer enough room to build equity and quit paying rent, and still have a property that allows me and the Mrs. to make a few % points on our money down the road. Still looking for another Clemson property, but this is a horrible market for buyers in general.

and can't even stay overnight in, then yes...there are a feces-pot full of those things still on the market. Those are worthless. Any REAL condo or townhouse on the market sells pretty quickly though.

Wife's 4runner is need of service, and since it costs literally twice as much to get it done here than it does there, it's enough reason to come up there and spend a night for no real reason whatsoever other than wanting to be there.

I still think a houseboat would be ideal. If I could find a way to buy a lake lot and just park a houseboat there that would be a nice relatively short term solution.

Red and I were either priced out of what we wanted or had to go out a little further to get it. Luckily we found something that matched most of our criteria and it was extremely affordable at that. Closing on the 24th of October.
