Loosing Brooks and Dye Hurt a lot

Aug 31, 2014, 9:16 AM

As we all know we had no rushing attack, after having to replace Boyd and McDowell. I think we would have been in much better shape had we had a healthy Tyshon Dye and Zack Brooks. If we face facts, CJ and DJ are not the caliber of back that we need running the ball consistently to beat a program like UGA. Brooks and Dye probably would have been our top 2 backs heading into this season if they had been healthy. This paired with the fact that Stoudt is not the runner that Boyd was and we were relying on 3* talent is a major reason why UGA was able to make the adjustments they did after halftime. Hopefully Gallman can grow into a consistent back as the season progresses.

You don't always count on losing

Two juniors receivers to the NFL either. We knew the offense had some holes to fill.
