My son and I were watching Lucas yesterday and today. He is a fine..humble representative of Clemson University!!! It’s the tv coverages loss if they don’t follow him. All of the staff at Eastlake were highly complementary of him….He even carried his caddies bag up 16 yesterday while caddie raked the trap….while we were watching him on 11 a young girl tugged on my shirt and asked me if i wanted a Glover Lover wrist bracelet….it was his daughter smiling and very proud…i put it on immediately..hugged her and said thank you with a big ole Clemson smile…
A mighty humble family they are…

Awesome year for G lover. At 43 years old, a two year exemption is huge and adding $7 million to his career earnings will make retirement much better down the road.

So nice! There is something very, very special in those Clemson hills, and it permeates into our lives, and it can't be erased. I'm very happy, and thankful, for Lucas and the way he has represented himself, his wonderful family and our great university. He is a wonderful champion in so many ways.

I'm glad to hear this. I went to school and/or church with several of his uncles back in the day, so I would expect him to represent his family and the Clemson family well.

he reached there during the home stretch were an awesome and inspiring story.
So excited for him and his family to not only see them gain the extra financial security that transpired but also allowing for more time for him at home in the coming seasons instead of having to grind out performances in so many of the lesser tournaments in order to simply compete in the bigger ones.
Awesome story to follow during this summer's downtime. Hope he can keep that great mojo connection with that new putter of his.
