Mafah not being used enough!!!!

Averaging around 8 or 9 carries a game, 6.5 yards per rush. What the hell man, I like Shipley but I think Mafah would be more effective in wearing down the defense. Mafah could have left in the transfer portal but decided to be loyal but the team isn't showing him the love he deserves.

Don’t disagree, but think the running game in general is being underused. Seems like we don’t trust it.

yardage situations, it's obvious they don't trust it. And for good reason, they are very inconsistent running the ball because it just seems this offensive line lacks that dog physicallity

Mark Richt made the same observation after the Duke. He essentially said that we don’t have a reliable short yardage play which leads to a ton of these problems - keeping drives alive, scoring in the red zone, turnovers while being fancy, etc. It seems quite on the mark to me.

I have to disagree. Cannot pick up short yardage consistently enough to do that. Getting a yard on 3rd down is a 50/50 play for this team.
