During the game last night against James Madison, JJ Roberts was injured and carted off the field. It looked pretty critical. Has anyone heard an update? Please join me in praying for this young man and his family.

I thought it was targeting from the camera angle. Of course, there were tons of no calls last night in favor of the Herd. I hope he is ok, he lost consciousness a few times right after the hit.

Updates as of an hour ago are still nothing new yet but some of the chatter says they think he is improving and has movement in all extremities.

Huntington Native and lifelong Marshall fan. According to the MU boards, he has feeling and movement in all his extremities and is being held for observation. No details on extent of injuries yet. Prayers for a full recovery.

Update . He was released from the hospital yesterday. He was in and out of consciousness on the ambulance ride to the hospital. He's a local kid from one of the high schools not far from Marshall so he's with family. News article states he will be under MU medical care but looks like return to the field is very promising. Continue to pray for full recovery
