ESPN gameday crew doing best to get Florida state out

If Bama wins ( doubt they will) fsu is out. Acc and pac 12 is weakest. And they bring sec commissioner on to lobby for sec saying no way sec should be left out if Georgia loses. They will do their best to get Georgia d Bama both in. Just watch and see if FSU is number 5 ( if they win) when all said and done. But FSU and Bama both need to win big

There's nothing remotely "unbiased" about ESPN's college football coverage.

Washington and Oregon and Ohio State and Texas all would wipe the floor with FSU.
It's not bias. It's common sense.

How about Auburn taking Alabama to the last second and Alabama needing a complete miracle to win last weekend? Did that pass the eye test ?

One day that Horseshoe is going to fall out of Bama’s butt !!! IMO Lane Kiffin if he stays put long enough at Ole Miss he could possibly be the next HC at Bama. With his aggressive minded play calling and he has proven he can win. HC’s like Lane, Hugh Freeze, Dabo, Jamie Chadwell and other up and coming potential HC’s, can knock Bama and OSU off of those perches set up by ESPN. If Jim Harbaugh stays at Michigan it may be another 3 to 5 years before OSU wins that matchup. Saban is getting old and tired and he wants to go out a winner. So if Bama misses CFP finals next year he may retire so he can concentrate on his Aflac commercials.
I believe if Ryan Day fails to win the Big whatever the heck they call the conference now and fails to beat Michigan next year he is gone.
And I honestly believe if Dabo can get a few pieces in place Clemson can win it all again and as soon as next year. I would like to see ETN’s brother come to Clemson. He could help take some pressure off of Cade.
FSU is going to show college football why the portal is a short term fix. And Deion Sanders son will make enough NIL $$$$$$$ so Neon Deion can get married and live off of the poultry earnings he has made over the years. lol😂 Of coarse I don’t know how much he pays his 2 ex-wives ???
Speaking of the portal I wonder who NC will pluck ? And you have to have some compassion for Shane Beamer with the core of his team has hit the TP. Will the coots be able to field a full team next year. By the way I will miss Rattlers average interception rate of 2 per game.
Will the SEC run the coots out of the conference to invite Clemson in to take the opening slot.
Hope you enjoyed this post. I did not sleep well last night so I rambled a bit while sharing my opinions. Stayed tuned for another episode of the Wild Wild Wild exploits of what we use to call college athletics. The word for today is “Greed”.
Have a great day everyone and stay safe.

These eye test dudes are hilarious. Eye test is entirely subjective and in no way says team A can readily beat team B.
If FSU wins today and become undefeated ACC champs, then they’re in. Period.

You are probably right but if fsu goes undefeated and if this was clemson , people would have a melt down in here , I think it’s a disrespect if fsu goes undefeated and gets left out , let the game be played on the field

Yeah, sorry Bret, but I thought Oregon looked damm good last night. It is hard to see FSU, with their QB problems, being better than that.
And If Bama beats Georgia, I would say the same about both of them.
BTW, the glaring gap between all those receivers last night - and our own WR corp was hard to contemplate - huge difference in speed, routes, blocking, effort, etc.

What's common sense is that ESPN constantly promotes a narrative that the SEC has all the best college football teams in the country.
Of course that's not true. If it were how could the ACC go 6-4 in head to head matchups against the SEC this year?
ESPN wasn't promoting Washington, Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, or any other conference when they shilled the SEC Commissioner on Gameday and didn't afford other Commissioners the same consideration.
That's common sense, and it's bias.

I bet you thought, the greatest team of all time, the 2018 Bama Tide, was going to wipe the floor with us! How did that work out?

The SEC was not good this year. A lot of bad defenses. The Big 12 had better defenses than the SEC did this season

I can’t stand the SEC but the Big 12 wasn’t even close to having better defenses.

If chalk holds, the only real question is can FSU beat Louisville. The committee can’t take Bama if they win and leave Texas out. No amount of eye test blather will make that fly. My one hope is that Ocryo State doesn’t back in. Second hope is only one S she she team at most.

The networks and the officials have to much influence over the outcome of games. Officials use to use targeting as an away to influence games but in several games this year obvious targeting has not been called. A couple of good examples are the clear targeting hit on Will Shipley. The there was an obvious targeting infraction miss by the officials in last nights game.
If I remember correctly an Oregon player hit Washington’s QB in the head with crown of the helmet. Officials went from calling everything targeting and now it’s rarely called. Are the powers over college football concerned more with safety or setting up a ratings winner ???
If FSU wins today they deserve to be in the CFP’s if they put 2 SEC teams in or 2 Big Ten teams in CFP’s then ESPN has manipulated the games they wanted all along FG or ratings !!!

I'm pretty sure ESPNs 3 billion dollar deal with the SEC has something to do with it.

The GameDay crew doesn't select the playoff teams. Every year there is a different playoff committee and every year they're accused of bias and unfairness. I think Georgia wins today. I hope FSU wins and gets in. I'd much rather watch UGA boat race FSU than have to deal with Texas.

We’ll just have to wait and see. Washington is in. Michigan is in if they win. I think FSU is in too provided they win of course.
FSU would be 13-0 and a conference champion and they’re #4 now.
Ohio State is done.
The winner of the SEC is in probably unless it’s Bama. If it’s Bama they’re still not a lock.
TX is positioned to get in if FSU loses and maybe even is selected over Bama should Bama beat UGA. TX beat Bama head to head in Tuscaloosa That should matter.
If FSU wins, UGA wins and Michigan wins we’ll have 4 undefeated teams in the playoffs which is crazy.
I don’t see FSU being left out if they win, but that’s a big if since they may be using a 3rd string QB.
I don’t see 2 teams from the SEC getting in, but who knows ? That’s the beauty of a 4 team playoff. Every game is incredibly important. If this were next year, none of these games today would really matter nor last weeks OSU- Michigan game.
