somewhere around the stadium since He & He alone chose a youthful & energetic Dabo Swinney who had no Asst HC or HC experience!

All Dabo had was himself, a smile, a belief in himself & Clemson and a note book full of ideas and quotes.

Saying, we at Clemson were extremely lucky that TDP had the foresight to see what 75-90% of us didn’t.

Rather, we were chomping at the bit for a big name & experienced HC who probably would have bombed out 10-15 yrs ago and/or left us in the dust for another gig,

So, Thx a million TERRY DON and thanks DABO for coming thru big time!

TDP was and is a great Clemson man. He was a smart and visionary AD.
