flew to Michigan yesterday, planned on a single day trip for a quick exec meeting.
flight home gets completely hosed, so I drove home. 8 hr drive.
13 hrs of travel for 2.5 hrs of meeting. and it was mahogany-desk level, so ZERO substance was talked about, and instead, it was a buzzword shootout.
half the people were virtual anyways. zero value to being on-site.
my ability to stay in corporate America is dwindling by the week. corporate America, like American culture in general, needs a massive shock to right the ship, IMO.
