Not sure if it was the allergies or what, but I've had some bad soft earwax build up in my right ear for over a week. It wasn't going away and was greatly affecting my hearing. Every morning I would wake up deaf in my right ear and have to manipulate my ear until the ear canal opened up (gross, I know).
Bought an irrigation thing off Amazon for like $30, the WaxBGone kit.
Just used it and almost vomited from the amount of stuff that came out of my ear. I have always had more wax buildup than the average male, assuming that is God getting me back for making me almost perfect everywhere else, but this was insane. Also, 5 minutes later and I am still dizzy AF. This is insane, highly recommended, but make sure you have a chair. The instructions said overly cold or overly hot water could cause dizziness and it certainly did.

morbid fact, used to use ice water in ear canal as a test for brain death, would cause rapid eye movements, so yeah it can elicit pretty strong responses.
avoid q tips, they just make problems worser. think old cannons with powder rammer thingy.
your dizziness will go away, if not start drinking and that will give you a plausible reason for your dizziness so you don't have to worry about it any more.

from how often she's flying, plus probably the same as your for earwax.
Allergies hit me pretty good this year, but I still haven't tried to clean my ears.

I use a pen cap and scrape out my ear once a week. Works great.
