But something is happening in Cootville...

...Ever since Garcia went down for the count last year and Shaw stepped in, it doesn't matter what they do, they find a way to win. It is literally scary the way that this flock of chickens can run around a football field like chickens with their heads cut off and look up at the end of the game to once again find out that they have more points than their opponents.
I haven't figured this out, other than perhaps SOS is indeed the greatest football coach the world has ever seen or known of.
My adopted state of South Carolina is just descending into a state of anarchy with the rise of the Chickens. Driving down I-95 to get to Florida is becoming intolerable with every exit a haven of Gamecock memorabilia. It has almost gotten me to bypass the whole state and go through Georgia, until a civil society returns to SC.

Dude have you seen who they've played? You can play bad and still kill those teams

that AU win is looking like beating PC now. I'm not convinced either team deserves their ranking.

Sorry for the breech of Tnet protocol, Mama Maddog has control of the remote. What happened with Swearinger? Saw the first quarter and have no clue what's going on.

Is mizzou any good? they got thumped by UGA and barely beat a bad Arizona team today by 4 points. As much as I hope, I don't see it happening. Their first Loss may be against UGA after starting 5-0.

And you expect Spurrier to suspend Swearinger for helmet to helmet??? He will probably give him MVP. Spurrier doesn't suspend anyone he needs.

Mizzou is better than the Georgia score showed...

Mizzou was only down by one touchdown starting the 4th quarter and then Mizzou had two turnovers deep in their own end in the 4th quarter that Georgia was able to convert. So other than two turnovers, Mizzou played Georgia pretty even.
Mizzou did not have their starting quarterback for tonight's Arizona State game. Mizzou outplayed them but had an interception in the end zone and missed three makeable field goals. Mizzou should have beat them by 16 or more points. Again, the final score did not tell the whole story.
Mizzou beats SCAR by 4.

Yeah, that's just how this time of the year goes. That's why I put no stock in preseason poles. You can't really gauge all of the teams until they've got the cupcakes out of the way.

Missouri did play Georgia tough. They

were down only 24-20 in the 4th quarter before UGA pulled away. So the final score did not reflect how difficult Missouri was for them. So, if you are right, it won't surprise me. It should be a good game.

for a less obvious cause last week I believe. I do admire the Coots' aggressiveness on defense.
