that all should be comprised of the best teams I say do away with the Coaches and AP polls. It’s common knowledge that during the season Head Coaches are too busy to sit down and turn in a top 25 poll weekly therefore they assign that duty to one of his aides. The AP poll is a joke. Two examples…1) the lady that did not have Clemson in her top 25, 2) the medias love affair with Notre Dame. Louisville and Clemson beat them yet they end up ranked above both of us.

No one knows football better than Vegas. Once the CFP Committee made their selections Vegas said Georgia would be favored over all four. If a top team has to lose a game, do it early in the season. One of Dabo’s better quotes is “People remember November.”

Bottom line…let Vegas select the CFP participants and the final Top 25 poll. I know it will never happen.

I would not trust Vegas to do that.

No issue with a 10-3 ND ranked ahead of us. Rankings are based on the YTD and not on a particular game because it would take forever to look at dozens of head to head games.

As far as Vegas goes, there are people on this site that just today say the ACC officials were paid to allow Michigan to win. That is a really stupid idea but I just don't think putting the Playoffs in the hands of Vegas who will make millions of $ off the games is a good idea either.
