This has been going on for longer than NIL.
It's the result of such a restrictive postseason. No one dissects wins vs losses in the NFL because the postseason doesn't unnecessarily exclude some of the best teams.

up Pay-To-Play deals with kids in high school, year-round free agency, and West Coast teams playing in Midwest and Atlantic Coast conferences, etc., all because ESPN and FOX say so.

Fans stop buying tickets and paying booster club fees. Enough said, let the Universities figure it all out! They don’t have a problem with you paying more money and charging extra tuition every year do they?

There’s still a difference in style of play between the two. And many prefer the college game to the NFL version. Much like many prefer college bball to the nba because of play style

People in general these days are obsessed with being negative and “edgy. They’re so miserable they don’t understand that you can look at the positives as well. That’s one reason Dabo drives so many crazy due to his optimism. It’s more popular now to just throw your hands up and say I can’t do it then put your head down and work. The media is partly responsible they literally only focus on the negatives, hell look at Ryan aka Judge Keller every article the dude writes is negative.
