about Brad situation. If we make a move, and I 1000% think we should, no more status quo and repeating same coaching search formula for Basketball that we've done ad nauseum. If we want to be serious and we want success our AD needs to borrow a line from Dabo and make "Best is the standard" and go "All In" valid for basketball. We cant go cheap and we cant go half ### and hope for different results. No more up and coming mid major coaches that we hope we catch lightning in a bottle with. Lets face it, those up and coming coaches are also more likely to be using Clemson as a stepping stone for something better and will leave when given the chance. We need to open the check book and bring in a proven winner that has had success at minimum at the power 5 level that wouldnt be looking at us as a stepping stone because their record is already established. By success, im not saying it needs to be a final 4 or national championship coach, but one that has consistent success in atleast reaching the tournament and is a strong recruiter. If we arent willing to do this, we might as well keep Brad because our AD would be showing mediocracy is good enough and Brad foots the bill for this expectation.

to get the best we can and not just someone who has potential( although that worked out with Dabo). But the coach that comes in needs to create some excitement to get the game on board while building. Remember Barnes created that not taking any ACC bias BS on the court and interacting with the fan base. He use to ride around on the golf cart during tailgating for Football games. Shyatt, nice guy but didn't have it. OP created it with style of play.

We should also use the opportunity to raise funds for a basketball NIL. Note the Cuse coach stating that Pitt, Miami and WF bought teams. Even a great coach will need NIL to support the effort.

team. Unless Clemson basketball is willing to sell their soul like the Petino's of the world, just keep doing what they have been. I wish the Clemson AD would just come out and say this that way Clemson fans will stop whining about basketball....
