thing is particularly infuriating and hard to swallow, as well as several other teams that got in ahead of us. It's flat out wrong. Yet, we had easy, excellent chances to lock in a bid by beating a couple of terrible teams, and we failed. Just beating one of those 4 teams probably would have done it. Now we have to live with it.

I'm not sure beating a terrible team helps you much but clearly they can use it to hurt you selection wise

but when you lose to South Carolina, Loyola-Chicago, Boston College and Louisville, you have no one to blame but yourself.
While the team should have won all four of those games, eliminate any two of those losses, and Clemson is playing this Thursday or Friday.
Apparently inconsistency and mediocrity are the actual standards.
