Dislike UConn in the "revised" ACC, but do like West Virginia. Let ND go to the B16, but take Navy or Rutgers as a replacement. Penn St. and or Maryland are "damaged goods." UConn would have to make major upgrades and I don't see that happening.
Clemson could become the last piece of an eight team SEC East instead of Charlotte? if USuck were out voted. Interesting to ponder all the possibilities.

Often ignored in the Clemson to the SEC argument is that

if that ever happened, the CU vs Coot match up would have to go away for a few years due to normal conference rotation. Would anybody like Clemson vs Vandy as a replacement?

Much of the article is lacking rivalry and geographic understanding. BC is not interested in having UConn in the ACC. A revised SEC East needs either Clemson or perhaps Ga. Tech (past member) to become the eighth member unless the SEC wants a stronger presence in Florida. No other ACC member is prepared for that move. West Virginia could join, but they would fit the ACC better geographically.

You make some good points. It all boils down to TV markets, and that's why when the SEC expanded they picked up Mizzou, and Texas A&M. Clemson to the SEC made a lot more sense than either, but the SEC already has the SC television market and didn't need Clemson.
Ironically, I think the SEC could have killed the ACC forever by inviting FSU and Clemson. If the ACC ever gets a real Commissioner and Miami, NC State, Louisville, UNC, VT, get their collective football acts together they may wish they did. The ACC could rival the SEC and compete/better their football product right in their own geographic footprint.
But again, expansion is about adding new television markets, that's it. Connecticut would be a new television market and because nobody is watching college football up there (except a few Notre Dame fans) it really makes no sense, literally.

Part of the agreement ND currently has with the ACC that is if they join any conference during the agreement it HAS to be the ACC.
