Let the season play out. If we don’t make tournament, I think cbb will have coached his last game here. I suspect Neff keeps him, if we make the NCAA tournament. Not saying he should, but that is how I think it goes.

Once the Tigers fall to 4-8 in conference I believe the decision will have been made by Neff. They will hanging around the tournament bubble by then. He will start considering replacement options. A 10-10 conference finish would be a pretty good turnaround but the ACC isn’t getting 5 or 6 teams into the NCAAT so it would take a deep conference tournament run to get back above the bubble. I dont see that happening. However, Neff could be in a tough spot because it would be such Brownell type thing to do and keep winning NIT games. That’s when Neff has to step up and show everyone the Brownell tenure is finally done.
